Interview with Jane Bernard!

Please join me in welcoming Jane Bernard to The Review Hutch! We're pleased to host her Virtual Book Tour stop on September 8th.

Q: What three words do you think describe you as a human being?

Jane: HAPPY, SEXY, THANKFUL.

Q: How do you think others would describe you?

Jane: HOPEFULLY AS KIND.

Q: Please tell us what you are most passionate about outside of writing.

Jane: MY LIFE, MY CHILDREN, MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.

Q: What is your most precious memory?

Jane: RAISING MY CHILDREN.

Q: What is your most embarrassing memory?

Jane: HA- HA - HA (Note: Obviously Jane is reluctant to respond to this one. LOL)

Q: If you weren’t a writer, what would you be doing with your life?

Jane: I WOULD HAVE A FABULOUS, DELICIOUS, NUTRITIOUS RESTAURANT.

Q: Can you describe the time you realized you were indeed a “real” writer?

Jane: WHEN I KNEW I LOVED WRITING.

Q: What is going on with your writing these days?

Jane: WORKING ON 2 BOOKS, JUST FINISHED A SCIENCE FICTION SCREENPLAY, WRITING A SPEECH I HAVE TO GIVE.

Q: What are your future goals for your writing?

Jane: I WOULD LIKE MY WRITING TO HELP PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIFE TO ITS FULLEST POTENTIAL.

Q: Can you describe a typical writing day for you?

Jane: WHEN I’M WORKING ON A PROJECT, I USUALLY DECIDE IN ADVANCE WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH. FOR EXAMPLE, TODAY I FINISHED A RE-WRITE OF A SCREENPLAY. OTHER TIMES I MAY BE WORKING ON A BOOK AND DECIDE I WANT TO WRITE A CHAPTER OR I MAY DECIDE I WANT TO WRITE A PRESS RELEASE. THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES DOESN’T SEEM TO BE RELATED TO THE TASK.

Q: Why do you write?

Jane: IT’S IN MY BLOOD.

Q: What writer most inspires you?

Jane: I LOVE JEANETTE WINTERSON, AMOS OZ AND MARTIN AMIS Why? BECAUSE THEIR LANGUAGE IS PRISTINE, INSPIRED, MULTI-LAYERED, HUMOROUS, PHILOSOPHICAL, HUMAN AND BRILLIANT.

Q: How do you define your writing?

Jane: NATURAL

Q: In one sentence — what do you want people to say about your writing in fifty years?

Jane: JANE BERNARD’S WRITING HELPED ME.

Q: Can you tell us where to find more information on you? Website? Blog?

Jane: MY WEBSITE: www.FineTuningBook.com, OR GOOGLE - WHICH IS WHERE I LEARN ABOUT MYSELF.

Q: Is there a place where readers can reach you?

Jane: I’M ALWAYS AVAILABLE THROUGH MY WEBSITE. www.jane-bernard.com

Q: Can you list all your book titles so people can look for them?

Jane: FINE TUNING, CONNECTING WITH YOUR INNER POWER IS THE ONLY ONE CURRENTLY OUT. WARRIOR MIND SHOULD BE OUT BY 2010 AND THAT WILL BE FOLLOWED BY 6TH SENSE DIETING.

Q: For new readers — what can they expect when they read your book(s)?

Jane: CLARITY, INSIGHTS AND A SENSE OF SELF EMPOWERMENT.

Q: Take as much space as necessary to speak to our readers — what would you like them to know about you and your writing?

Jane: I’M A NORMAL PERSON WHO IS LUCKY TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT WITH HER INTUITION AND USE IT TO ACHIEVE A HAPPY LIFE. I TEACH WRITING ON-LINE AND AM AVAILABLE FOR PERSONAL FINE TUNING COACHING. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST!

I have this book and refer to it often. I keep it at my bedside for when I need a boost. It's so easy to let our senses become dulled in this world and this book always tunes me up! Thanks, Jane, for a great book - I look forward to your future Fine Tuning books!

Jane,
I have enjoyed your book so much! It helps me through my difficult times when I let the world distract me. I have read it three times and even go back to different sections when I need to refocus my energies and "fine tune" my senses. Thanks for this great book!

Questions for Jane?

Hi Linda- I thought I posted yesteday a page from Fine Tuning but don't see it. Fine Tuning is unique because you can open to any page like an oracle and get a burst of clarity. In fact just now I have opened to p. 89. Here is what it says:
What are we longing for?

We are longing to know our selves. We are longing to feel our energy merge and grow with the energy of another. We are longing to be free from what doesn't feel right. We are longing to laugh. We are longing to wink at life and have life wink back. We are longing to dance our unique dance with our unique soul and have the world's song resonate with our voice. We want to go with the flow, because we are part of the flow, without reservation, without limits, without fear.

We are longing to open our hearts.

We instinctively seek a lightness of being that will free us from our longing. This is the role of the 6th Sense.

Make the choice to connect and see what happens.

;-)
